I can not imagine life without cats. From childhood on, there has always been a cat in my life. And at the moment there are 5.
Three of my cats are just regular house cats aka European Shorthairs. One literally fell out of a Greek tree, one I found on an online marketplace and one came from an animal shelter.
Beside those three there are two white Maine Coons, a boy and a girl. Both are deaf. They are known on the internet as Tw’Ice & Vlinder. Due to the interest in sharing my house with two of these special cats, I have started their own Facebook page. Every day I post a little story about their pranks and add a picture. This is how my passion for photography started.
The camera from my mobile phone was followed by a DSLR. Like a piece of the puzzle that falls in place, that’s how the camera feels in my life. With “eyes as the mirror of the soul” as starting point I like to go and seek -especially in cats- this mirror and then capture what I see. Over and over again it feels special to be allowed this form of contact.
